weddin' shmeddin'

today we went to a wedding. i got to put my new digital camera to use. it's the first event i've taken photos for with the digital, so it was a little nerve-racking, but i think some of the shots turned out really nice. see photo:

apollo has a really pretty red something or other on his forehead. the couch the cute couple are sitting on in the photo is the same couch apollo nose dived off of. ouch.

no photo, we had a night of quick moves, microwave pizzas, and ice cream at a hotel. oddly enough someone painted in the house and it smelled too bad for apollo to safely be in the house. this time the cost of the hotel is getting taken out of next months rent.

i got a camera for mother's day. thanks steven and apollo! it's digital, which doesn't give quite the quality of film, but it's easier and quicker. and i really like it. so instead of developing, scanning, and then importing my pictures into the blog, i can just stick my memory card into the usb card reader and import thataway. cool. 

notice the orange blobs on the fridge? that would be apollos carrot and tomato mixture that he splattered all over the kitchen.

steven works and so do i. tada! i recently got a new job. the goods: i have a good benefits program, i will receive a pay check for my work, i am working in a great atmosphere which encourages growth and teamwork. the bad: i had to find a sitter for apollo, it seems like i hardly get to see my son or husband, & i have to pump in the bathroom. it is somewhat awkward washing out my pumping accessories while there is someone doing a number 2 in the stall next to the sink. i spose that's how it goes though. ha, get it?
